It’s the deadliest job on earth – crab fishing off the coast of the Alaska coast on the icy Bering Sea. DEADLIEST CATCH follows the lives of the Dungeness crab fishermen and their families as they sacrifice everything to carve an existence from the sea. This season kicks off in the largest fishing port in North America as hundreds of men and women prepare to chase their piece of a million dollar bounty – the King Crab. However, this year is going to be a tough one after the State’s Fish and Game Surveys revealed a crab shortage. The series will see new beginnings as Wild Bill sinks all of his money into a new boat, as well as bittersweet endings as the Hillstrand brothers move on. Sig Hansen struggles to balance health and wealth while young captains Jake and Sean Dwyer fight to keep their place in the fleet.
