Every year, some of the world's biggest and most ferocious predators gather along the coast of the Pacific north-west, North America's most spectacular wilderness. Offshore, enormous whales, huge sharks and sea lions appear. On land, Bald Eagles swoop and grizzly bears fight for coastal hotspots. These animals are waiting for their annual feast - the millions of fish that are drawn to these inshore waters and nearby rivers to breed each year. ‘Death Trap' documents every step of this arduous and dynamic battle - the fish must run the gauntlet of all these hungry mouths, and for the predators too, taking advantage of this vital bounty is not without its dangers. Only the strong will survive the ‘Death Trap'.
