SSPCA: On the Wildside
'SSPCA: On the Wildside' follows the daily lives of the inspectors and ambulance drivers who work for the Scottish SPCA (Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). They are on a mission to rescue and protect an extraordinary variety of wildlife, livestock and domestic pets, and encourage kindness and humanity towards the treatment of all animals. Watch as experienced inspector Andy heads to a beach near the city of Inverness to help an orphaned baby seal, whilst in Edinburgh ambulance driver Connie captures a snake that has been let loose in a car. From sperm whales and scorpions, to rabbits and snakes, to cats and dogs - the teams work in a diversity of environments and challenging situations to protect Scotland's animals.
