Captain Paul Watson and his team of Sea Shepherd volunteers return in adrenaline-fuelled series, ‘Whale Wars'. Follow the fleet as they wage a life-and-death battle to find and stop Japanese ships from hunting whales in the name of research. Watson and his diverse group of international staff and volunteers take a radical approach to wipe out whaling and alleged ocean-law violations. Highlighting the controversial whaling trade and the fearless tactics that the team deploys in their attempt to cripple it, this fourth series documents the campaigners three-month expedition across dangerous icy Antarctic waters. As the crusade begins, things are looking good; new vessel, The Gojira, joins the fleet, and they quickly track down two harpoon ships before they are able to kill a single whale. But as the mission continues and the fleet goes in search of their ultimate target, factory vessel, the Nisshin Maru, the operation takes a turn for the worse. Several gruelling months at sea bring a host of dangerous missions, two boats and their crew treacherously lost at sea, and severe mental and physical exhaustion setting in amoungst the team. But despite all this, will Paul see his life's work paid off with the ultimate victory?
