Wild Africa Rescue

Image 1 / 10

Also part of ‘Rescue Zone' on Animal Planet this October, go behind-the-scenes in Kenya's largest and busiest private game reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This stunning series follows wildlife supervisor Batian Craig and head Ranger Dixon Kariuki as they oversee this vast reserve that is home to over 15,000 animals, including some of Africa's rarest and most endangered species. Close to 60,000 people live just outside the reserve's boundaries, many of whom are subsistence farmers who would rather not have to share the land with some of the most dangerous animals on the planet. As well as managing the 85,000 acres of the reserve, Craig and Kariuki must deal with the problems that arise from the forced coexistence between man and beast that is one of the realities of conservation in modern day Africa.
