After a possible brush with death in Iceland, the team return for a third season of ‘Ice Cold Gold', and discover some devastating news about the 13 million dollar ruby deposit they have been working on for a year and a half. In the premiere episode, Sixty Degree Resources will make their third trip to Greenland. Team geologist Eric calls a meeting in Arizona to discuss some massive changes to this year's operation. More than ever, prospectors have to adapt or die as Eric scrambles to come up with a new strategy for the season. Along with a new member, a skilled mountaineer and explorer named Doug Stoup, the team embarks on their journey into what could be the most treacherous terrain they've ever been faced with.
