In Wrecks to Riches the mechanics scour salvage yards for complete write offs that they believe they can - not only repair - but sell at a profit. These crafty mechanics need to turn these scruffy wrecks into stunning vintage cars, worth high prices. With a limited starting budget, the team find the first low budget car and, if all goes well, use the profit from that job to move up the motor chain to a superior car such as a Lexus or even an MG. The investments are high but the return can be even higher. However, if all goes wrong and they fail in this risky challenge, the money lost comes out of their own pockets.
