This crack team takes on the problems of today's world by imagining the craziest, one-of-a-kind prototypes of tomorrow, and then building them. Including two scientists, an electrical engineer and a special effects wizard, the Prototype This team takes viewers on a journey through emerging technology as they invent the future. From boxing robots that could be the future of video games to a sleeping pod that acts like a Wallace and Gromit contraption, getting the occupant up, shaved, showered, dressed and out the door in a matter of minutes, the engineers have two weeks to bring these design to completion, before testing them themselves.
