Kate and the kids are back for a second season of Kate Plus 8 on TLC Russia. Join the Gosselin family as they do activities around the home and travel to new and exciting places. In the hour-long premiere episode Kate and her excited eight take a 21 hour flight across the globe to welcome in 2011 in the first city to celebrate the New Year, Sydney, Australia. Kate takes a boat to the middle of the ocean in hopes of swimming in a cage next to sharks. But will Kate be too scared to get in the freezing, rough water? There are a lot of new experiences to be had for the Gosselins. The family learns about the Australian Aboriginal culture and enjoys spending time on the beach in the warm December air on the other side of the world. But when bedtime comes, can Kate and her kids cope with camping?
