In ‘My Greek Kitchen', join passionate chef Tonia Buxton on a culinary and cultural tour of some of the most stunning locations in the Greek Mediterranean region. Travelling from the mainland to the islands - including the bustling streets and of Athens, the mountainous beauty of Kephalonia and the vibrant nightlife of Mykenos- Tonia explores the delicious dishes these dazzling destinations have to offer. In each episode, Tonia cooks up regional recipes that originate from the areas she visits, using fresh vegetables, meat, fish, cheeses, as well as fruit and herbs from the farms and markets to make a sumptuous feast. Among the mouth-watering meals featured are: traditional lamb moussaka, dolmades (stuffed vine leaves) and hummus, plus sweet treats like halvas and baklava. Tonia's journey also takes her to the island of Cyprus, where many of her family members still live.
