Kody Brown is a polygamist with four ‘sister-wives'; Meri, Janelle, Robyn and Christine; and a rapidly growing number of children. This series shatters stereotypes around polygamy and presents a fresh look at a lifestyle that has been mired in secrecy and misunderstanding. In the first episode of the series, The Browns face a chaotic week as they meet with a potential investor for their jewellery line, but Kody has a big surprise when daughter Mykelti brings a boyfriend home. Also coming up in the series, the jewellery business and talks of more babies begins to overwhelm the Browns and investment is sought to solve the problem, and the wives decide to throw Kody a Vegas-themed surprise party to thank him for all he has done for them.
