Anatomy of a Combat Force
In these episodes of "Anatomy Of A Combat Force" we go behind-the-scenes into two of the U.S. military's greatest fighting machines to understand how they work: a nuclear-powered SUBMARINE and a COMBAT FORCE. In "Anatomy of a Submarine", we'll show how a submarine can operate without refuelling for 30 years and the technology involved in launching its 25 surface to air missiles and underwater torpedoes at enemy targets. In "Anatomy of a Combat Force" we'll film on location with a U.S. military force, like the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit based out of Camp Pendleton, to find out how 2,200 troops function as one cohesive unit of unstoppable fighting power.
