‘STORM CHASERS' roars back for an all-new season on Discovery Channel. Get a front row seat to nature's fury in the heart of "Tornado Alley" as scientists, researchers and weather enthusiasts gear up in their pursuit of the ultimate tornado footage. Their goal is to spot one of Mother Nature's deadliest and most violent creations: the tornado. But for our team, seeing a tornado is not enough, they hope to achieve the impossible and actually go inside one of these storms. Storm Chasers Reed Timmer and his team return with their newly armored chase vehicle "The Dominator," racing to be first on the storm scene ahead of IMAX filmmaker, Sean Casey and his monster tank-like TIV (Tornado Intercept Vehicle). New this season is veteran researcher and storm chaser Tim Samaras, whose steady leadership is in marked contrast to Timmer and Casey's teams. Catch all the action as our intrepid group of scientists head out hot on the trail of some of the mostly deadly tornadoes.
