If there’s anything more challenging than raising triplets it’s raising quintuplets. This one-off documentary explores the joys, pitfalls and unending demands of doing both as we follow a family of three-year-old quintuplets, and a family of new-born triplets, each facing the amusements and heart-warming moments of a crowded family life. Viewers will witness the birth and dramatic first days of the triplets’ lives, and follow them home to experience the daily routines of keeping three infants happy. We also leap ahead to what they can expect as we watch the quintuplets celebrate their third birthday, followed by an exploratory walk through their neighbourhood, a picnic lunch in the park, a day of picture painting, and their first swimming lesson. It adds up to a non-stop deluge of delights and disasters in the lives of “Multiples.”
