Six-part reality series to air this summer exclusively on TLC
London, 21 April 2016 – The only way is equine for Katie Price as she saddles up with TLC for a brand new reality TV series to air this summer. KATIE PRICE’S PONY CLUB sees the TV personality and entrepreneur create a pony club team like no other. Comprising her eight year old daughter Princess, ten year old son Junior and four of their closest young friends, this six-part series follows the six young novice riders, supported by their fiercely competitive and outspoken mums, as they take on the elitist world of pony clubs.
Each episode of the six-part series, produced by Shiver, will see the group tackle a different form of riding – from a drag hunt to show jumping, reining to dressage. They will learn their horse riding skills from the ground up, with the series climaxing in the poshest of posh events as they compete as a team in a high society game of polo.
Katie Price said: “I’ve not done a reality show for four years and I’m so excited to be doing this with TLC. This really is a dream come true. It brings together my biggest passions – my family, my friends and my animals. Expect a lot of pink, a lot of noise, much chaos and a fair few feathers ruffled along the way!”
Katie’s team is based at her family home in West Sussex which is mid-renovation and where she keeps her horses. With five of them, four goats, four dogs, three pigs, one rabbit, one baby hedgehog, over 100 feathered friends, five kids and one husband – all featuring in this fly-on-the-stable-wall series - Katie’s chaotic household is more comparable to a working farm than a reality star mansion.
