Imagine researching your family history online only to discover you've got blue blood. That's what's happened to All-American auto repair advisor, David Howe. Little did he know when he embarked on a trip down memory lane that the shocking results would catapult him and his family into the most elite social circles overnight.
David’s discovery confirmed that he is heir and rightful King of the Isle of Man, or to use his official title, HRH Prince David the King of Man. Now it’s time for David, wife Pam and 12-year-old daughter Grace to see if they can not only claim his throne, but adjust to living on a tiny island a world away from home.
In this seven part series, will the locals take kindly to an American trying to claim the throne? Will a round of drinks for everyone on the island help? Or maybe winning the annual bathtub race? Whatever it takes, David's determined to be seen as one of them and TLC will be there to capture every twist and turn of this royal reality show.
