Discovery's ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER delivered its highest rated season premiere ever in Adults 25-54 on Sunday, Oct. 5, up double digits vs. last season's launch. It also delivered its third highest telecast ever and posted double digit increases in total viewers vs. last season's premiere.   

The season four launch of ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER last night earned a 1.85 HH / 1.24 P25-54/ 1.48 M25-54 and delivered an average of 2.7 million Total Viewers P2+ at 9PM ET/PT.  The launch was up +16% in Adults 25-54 and up +13% in Total Viewers P2+ vs. the season three premiere episode.    

ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER features three generations of the Kilcher family who live off the land that Yule Kilcher homesteaded over 80 years ago after fleeing Switzerland in search of a free and simple life. He found that life outside of Homer, Alaska. The Kilcher family resides on their homestead consisting of over 640 acres of Alaskan wilderness.
