The season finale of Discovery’s DEADLIEST CATCH had 1.9 million Total Viewers P2+ and was the #1 unscripted telecast on all of cable television among Men 25-54 on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 8PM for 12 weeks in a row. Additionally, the episode, “Everything Changes”, pushed Discovery Channel into cable’s Top Five in its time period across key demos that included Persons 25-54 (#3) with a .98 rating. Other key demos included Men 25-54 (#3), Men 18-49 (#3) and Total Viewers (#4).

In the episode “Everything Changes”, the Cornelia crew fights to save their gear from sea ice. Jake risks the far north to fill his tanks before his son’s birth. Amid news of a looming pandemic, Russian boats mysteriously disappear and captains race to dock before crab prices crash. This season, for the first time ever on DEADLIEST CATCH, the Alaskan crab fleet faced off against their biggest rival – the Russians. A competition so fierce, the captains pushed into uncharted territory, including one veteran actually going to Russia. This season also brought new fishing alliances, former Catch captains returning to the fleet and a global, headline-grabbing winter storm that pounded their crab boats.
