(Silver Spring, MD) - For these perpetrators, the stories may be different, but the motives are always the same - to stay out of prison and live life on the lam. The people profiled in I (ALMOST) GOT AWAY WITH IT evaded justice for years, sometimes decades, by using their families, fake identification and even violence to avoid capture. Each episode features an interview from prison with these slick culprits, who spill where they found shelter, how they changed their identities and how they almost got away with it. The third season of I (ALMOST) GOT AWAY WITH IT starts Tuesday, April 12 at 10 PM ET on Investigation Discovery, kicking off with the following six episodes and an additional seven episodes starting Tuesday, May 31.

Got A Country Legend's Tour Bus - Tuesday, April 12 at 10 PM ET

Christopher Daniel Gay was a working-class guy who dabbled in petty theft. However, by 1999 his crimes had escalated and he was convicted of 12 counts of theft. Gay is known for his continual escapes from prison and his unusual choice in escape vehicles - everything from 18-wheelers to RVs to, most famously, country singer Crystal Gayle's tour bus. When Gay is arrested, he escapes during a prison transport and attempts to visit his dying mother hundreds of miles away.

Got That Tough Girl Look - Tuesday, April 19 at 10 PM ET

In October 2007, Juanita Liebman, her boyfriend and a friend go to Biketoberfest in Florida. The trio befriends James Mason, who they plan to rob. However, things get out of hand and in an alcohol-fueled frenzy, the trio kicks Mason into a coma and flee with his cash and jewelry. Luckily for Liebman, the cops have a false lead. So she tries to lay low, but her epilepsy requires medical attention. And when police learn that Liebman is in fact the person responsible, they stake out her pharmacy and wait for their chance to catch her.

Got A Bad Temper - Tuesday, April 26 at 10 PM ET

On July 18, 2000, 22-year-old Aurlieas McClarty walks into a store in Orange County, Fla., and guns down a store manager for a mere $200. McClarty is placed on the FBI Most Wanted List. Despite being a wanted man, McClarty does not keep a low profile and soon becomes wanted for counterfeiting money in Florida, as well as a string of bank robberies in Maryland.

McClarty goes on the run from state to state as he defrauds banks, stores and people. All McClarty wants is money, cars, drugs and women, and does anything to get them, but none of these desires can protect him when a SWAT team breaks down his door with a warrant for his arrest.

Got A Pen Pal - Tuesday, May 3 at 10 PM ET

Brenda Wynn loves heroin and has done time in prison for it. Now free, she plans to make a new life as a rap artist. But when Wynn catches her chauffeur stealing her money, she flies into a frenzy and runs him over with her car, dead set on killing him. In fear of going back to prison, Wynn does what she can to stay on the run, using phony credit cards and manipulating men to give her money. Meanwhile, the cops are closing in and Wynn's free ride eventually comes to an end.

Got To Run With My Buddy - Tuesday, May 10 at 10 PM ET

Larry McClendon is sent to jail for killing a storeowner. While in prison, he and seven other inmates escape. McClendon and co-escapee Michael England collect supplies from England's family home. But when the police show up, the two are forced to hide in the pigpen out back. Newspapers across Texas announce the escape, so McClendon  dresses as a woman in an attempt to disguise himself. England's family members are questioned and give up important clues to the inmates' hideout. Cops know it is only a matter of time before they pick up McClendon's scent and capture him.
