The premiere episode of THE LAKE ERIE MURDERS features the 1992 murder of 11-year-old Shauna Howe from Oil City, Pennsylvania. Shauna disappeared on her way home from a Girl Scout Halloween party, and alarm bells are immediately raised in the quiet, close-knit town. Shauna’s friends and family mount a search to find the beloved little girl, but their hopes are shattered after Shauna’s body is found in a creek. Amid the fear and panic, several subjects emerge, leading investigators to uncover startling information and expose shocking small-town secrets.
