(Silver Spring, MD) – Bindi is back! The Emmy® winner for outstanding performer in a children’s series returns to Discovery Kids this fall for the second season of BINDI THE JUNGLE GIRL. In this season, Bindi travels from her treehouse to exotic locations around the globe to track down some of Earth’s most incredible natural wonders. Bindi brings viewers up close and personal with all kinds of amazing animals–from the cute to the not-so cute–to explain why all creatures are worthy of respect, protection and love. Season 2 of BINDI THE JUNGLE GIRL premieres on Saturday, September 27, at 5 PM ET on Discovery Kids.

Blessed with the boundless energy and passion she inherited from her father, the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, this dynamic ten-year-old has become an international phenomenon. BINDI THE JUNGLE GIRL furthers Steve’s mission of wildlife conservation by educating viewers on the wonders of the natural world–and informing them of their personal impact on it.

In the season premiere, Bindi experiences an American Roadtrip when she journeys across the desert states with her mother Terri, little brother Robert and family friend Wes Mannion. In between rafting down the Colorado River and exploring the Grand Canyon, Bindi examines the resilient native creatures that reside in the hottest parts of the United States. In later episodes, Bindi and Terri travel to exotic international locales in Indonesia including Bali and Singapore, and experience every animal lover’s dream adventure–an African safari.

When she is back in the treehouse, Bindi connects with other kids and answers questions in the “Bindi’s Blog” segment. Season 2 also includes the popular segment “Croc Hunter Unplugged,” where Bindi reminisces about her father’s adventures and shows highlights from some of his most amazing escapades.
