Executive Vice President, Production and Development

Lisa Erspamer joined OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network in January 2010.  In her position, Ms. Erspamer oversees production and development of daytime and primetime programming for the channel.

Ms. Erspamer has had an integral role in OWN's more than 20 original series premiered to-date including "Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes," "Why Not?...With Shania Twain" and "The Judds."  She is also responsible for Rosie O'Donnell's return to daytime television this Fall and the Duchess of York sharing her personal struggles as she looks to rebuild her life in "Finding Sarah."

Several original documentaries are joining OWN because of Ms. Erspamer.  The high profile projects in the OWN Documentary Club include such talent as Julia Roberts, Forest Whitaker, Gabriel Byrne and Mariel Hemingway.  This huge programming initiative is focused on exploring human interaction, relationships and emotions, and providing viewers with new perspectives and new ways of looking at core themes that shape and affect their lives.

Most recently, Ms. Erspamer served as co-executive producer of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," helping lead the most successful team in daytime television. A 15-year veteran of Harpo Productions, Inc., Ms. Erspamer produced hundreds of shows during her tenure, and has overseen some of the "The Oprah Winfrey Show's" most memorable moments.  Iconic episodes that she has be responsible for include, last season's kickoff party "flash mob" dance in the streets of Chicago, the unforgettable two-part Whitney Houston interview, and the legendary car giveaway to the entire audience, just to name a few. 

Ms. Erspamer first joined Harpo Productions in 1994 as an associate producer and has held positions with increasing levels of responsibility throughout her work history, including producer and supervising producer.
