Great American Eclipse

For the first time in 99 years a total solar eclipse will span the continental United States, the path of totality stretching from Oregon to South Carolina. The Great American Eclipse is one of the most anticipated science events in recent memory and starting at 12pm ET, Science Channel will be showing the eclipse first, live from Madras, Oregon, one of the first land based locations to see it. In primetime, the network will premiere the one-hour special, THE GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE, hosted by NASA astronaut Mike Massimino, with same-day footage of the eclipse, on the 21st at 9 PM ET/PT.
