TLC RENEWS MY STRANGE ADDICTION AND SETS PREMIERE DATE FOR RETURN OF HOARDING: BURIED ALIVE

Los Angeles, CA - TLC announces it has picked up MY STRANGE ADDICTION for a second season. The first season of the series will finale this week, Wednesday February 16th at 9PM (ET/PT). In addition, the network has announced the premiere date for the return of HOARDING: BURIED ALIVE set to debut on March 2nd at 10PM (ET/PT).

MY STRANGE ADDICTION explores the lives of individuals battling extreme and bizarre addictions. The current season of the series has been a strong performer for the network, with premiere episodes achieving an average HH rating of 1.3 and had an average number of 1.8 million P2+ viewers.  In this week's season finale, set to air Wednesday, February 16th, audiences will be introduced to Bianca, a woman addicted to eating pottery and cigarette ashes and to Kimberly, a young woman addicted to laxatives. Casting is currently underway for the new season of the series.

In the weeks following the finale of MY STRANGE ADDICTION, another hit TLC series HOARDING: BURIED ALIVE, will premiere the second half of season two with nine all new episodes starting on March 2nd at 10PM (ET/PT). The series will continue to follow the compelling and sometimes heart breaking stories of people whose things have taken over their lives. Audiences will watch as they struggle to regain control with the help of professional organizers, therapists, friends and family members.
