Discovery Health is currently broadcast to 10.3 million individuals in the UK, from 6am until midnight, on Sky Digital, channel 196.

Online

Discovery Health Online is accessed through www.discoveryhealth.co.uk, and features comprehensive programme information, TV listings and highlights, as well as supporting editorial information on key series, and the latest health news and fact sheets.

Ratings

Launched in July 2000 as the latest of Discovery s ten European channels, Discovery Health is now the third most watched channel in Discovery Network Europe s UK portfolio, behind Discovery Channel and Discovery Home and Leisure, amongst adults in Sky digital homes.

Partnerships

Via off-screen relationships, and on-screen / online content, the Discovery Health dual media brand will be at the forefront of the current national initiative to empower the individual, working alongside current public policy on health issues. Discovery Health has partnerships with leading independent health organisations and third parties, notably the Doctor Patient Partnership.

Discovery Health also works with a number of independent health experts and associations, including Breast Cancer Care, the Digestive Disorders Foundation and Health Unlimited, and has established an Advisory Board of healthcare professionals to guide and inspire the editorial content, both on TV and online.
