Born with a dream to share a love of travel and tell the stories of native people, presenter Jennifer Adams and cameraman Daniel McPherson have turned their wanderlust into an amazing series of travels across the globe. Visiting stunning places such as the colourful state of Rajasthan in India and the Inca trail in Peru, PLACES WE GO will showcase the fascinating lives of the locals while exploring the native culture and cuisine.

Jennifer will take a friend along on each journey, for a spontaneous and fresh look at the world.

  • East Africa
With her boyfriend Clint, Jennifer attempts to climb Africa's tallest mountain, Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro, where it's not always the strongest that find it the easiest. They trek through the jungles of Rwanda in search of the biggest endangered mountain gorilla in the world, Gahunda, before touching down in what feels like another world - the endless plains of the Serengeti - to get up close and personal with the animal kingdom. Here, Jennifer and Clint enjoy a wonderful exchange of cultures with the Masai.
    • Ecuador
Together with her sister Bev, who has not been out of the country for over a decade, Jennifer explores the enchanting Galapagos Islands and the great Amazon Basin. They swim with sea lions and sharks in the crystal clear waters, paddle up the Napo River, and embark on an unforgettable adventure with the locals.
    • Antartica
Jennifer and her travel companion, AFL legend Neil Roberts, travel to one of the world's final frontiers and find themselves in one of largest storms of the year. Neil was officer-in-charge at Mawson station for over a year in the 1970's, so his return is an emotional one as he brings his son Michael who has always dreamt of seeing the place where his father worked over 30 years ago.
    • India
Jennifer and her friend Shura quickly discover how easily you are accepted here when you can join in a game of cricket! They travel through the north of the continent, catching the train to the state of Rajasthan where they are treated like royals at the Nimaj palace, and unbeknownst to Jennifer, a special birthday surprise awaits on the rooftop! Jennifer and Shura also visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, but it is the thrill of going on an expedition looking for the Bengal Tiger that gets everyone's hearts racing. After nearly missing the trip due to the infamous ‘Delhi belly', they spot not only one, but 28 tigers!
    • High Arctic
Cameraman Daniel brings his photography-mad sister Emma on a sea voyage to one of the most talked about places in the world - The High Arctic, home to Greenland, which experts say is melting due to global warming. Travelling through polar bear country, they spot several of these magnificent creatures while cruising past icebergs the size of high-rise buildings. They arrive in Greenland to meet the local Inuit community and learn how their lives are changing.
    • Jordan
In the country's capital of Amman, Jennifer and her friend Kristy take part in the rituals of Ramadan, and then travel to Laurence of Arabia country in the Wadi Rum desert where they are invited for tea with a local Bedouin family. They explore the ancient city of Petra and see the famous Treasury, an unbelievable monument carved into solid rock.
    • Peru
The land of the ancient Incas is a place steeped in history, culture, and adventure. Jennifer's boyfriend Clint joins her again, this time to walk the famous Inca trail to the lost city of Machu Picchu. They visit an Andean priest who makes a prediction of the future (that actually comes true!). Taking a ride in a light plane, they see one of the world's great archaeological mysteries, the Nasca lines, which are amazing designs carved into the earth by an ancient civilisation. Jenifer and Clink also unveil an exciting secret.

Join Jenifer and her travel companions as they seek to enjoy the journey as well as the destination on PLACES WE GO.
