Rocco Gets Real

CELEBRITY CHEF ROCCO DISPIRITO DISHES THE REAL DEAL ON SOME REAL MEALS ON DISCOVERY TRAVEL & LIVING'S NEW SERIES

If food is the way to a person's heart, let celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito show you the shortcut to impressing your guests - whether they are eight-year-old picky eaters or food-frenzied Italian relatives. This month, on Discovery Travel & Living's brand new series ROCCO GETS REAL, Rocco dishes out pointers on some of our favourite comfort foods. Rescuing eager but often clueless-in-the-kitchen individuals, catch the award-winning chef as he enlightens on a wide variety of everyday cooking dilemmas on ROCCO GETS REAL.

Rocco Dispirito is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, a celebrated New York chef and restaurateur, and one-time People Magazine's Sexiest Chef Alive. Known for his Italian-American cuisine and innovative fusion cooking, Rocco considers himself a "reformed gourmet" who believes in addressing real, everyday cooking needs.

In ROCCO GETS REAL, Rocco takes the cooking out of the studio and into real-life kitchens where people actually live and work. Real people. Real personal stories. Real meals made for real events in their lives. Whether it is a marriage proposal, family reunion or just Sunday dinner, taking the time to cook is one of the nicest things you can do for those you treasure. Each week on ROCCO GETS REAL, Rocco swoops into the hearts and homes of real people, and helps them get over their cooking fears and embrace the process of feeding their loved ones.

Rocco will show you that when it comes to the meals that matter most, it is not about following a recipe but being true to yourself.
