Extraordinary Dogs
Animal Planet welcomes, ‘Extraordinary Dogs' a new 13-part series which will explore the exceptional friendships and unbreakable bond between man and man's best friend. Each episode will showcase a variety of dogs from around the world who have expressed true canine clout, from their incredible sense of smell and sight, to their surprising strength and unbreakable loyalty to their owners. Through tales of resilience and remarkable survival in times of struggle, viewers will meet pooch Sophie Tucker, the dog that swam through shark-infested waters in Queensland, Australia and survived on a small island alone for 4 months; and the rescue dog who discovered a survivor buried under 30 metres of rubble, amongst the devastation at the site of the World Trade Centre.
