Animal Planet’s ever-popular series PIT BULLS & PAROLEES returns in the new year with same grit and sprit audiences know and love on Saturday, January 6 at 9PM ET/PT.
Tia Torres has dedicated her life to New Orleans-based Villalobos Rescue Center, the largest Pit Bull rescue center in the U.S. Tia and her family work tirelessly to provide Pit Bulls another chance in life while also offering a fresh start to parolees.
Feeling overwhelmed by all the work at the rescue centers, Tia hires three new parolees to help out this season. Villalobos is also called into action when a rural animal shelter closes down, leaving many dogs on the verge of being euthanized. Former adopters make their way back to adopt again from Villalobos as well as all new potential adopters from across the country. Later in the season, audiences will watch as Tia and her family help a rescue pup on her road to recovery and to Animal Planet’s famous PUPPY BOWL XIV, in addition to a special family announcement! Tia’s mission will always be to rescue but her hope is that one day she won’t have to.
