(Silver Spring, MD.) - PlanetGreen.com invites armchair globetrotters and environmental warriors alike to discover the first ten of 100 amazing locations in the premiere of the new short form series 100 Places to Remember Before They Disappear.   Visitors to 100 Places to Remember Before They Disappear will experience each special location through an interactive Google Maps interface.  This week's destinations represent a stunning range of ecosystems, unique inhabitants and natural wonders from the Maldive Islands to the Kushiro Marsh in Japan.  Return to PlanetGreen.com every week through the end of December as ten new locations are added and a breathtaking portrait of the Earth's endangered treasures takes shape. Once episodes premiere on PlanetGreen.com, viewers can catch subsequent airings on Planet Green's 24-hour television channel.

This eye-opening short form series consists of 100 one-minute episodes featuring stunning imagery and amazing facts about some of the most beautiful and fragile places on Earth.  100 Places to Remember Before They Disappear explores destinations identified in a landmark research study from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change.  The project focuses on sites around the globe either in danger of disappearing or places where the living conditions for people, flora, and fauna will drastically change within the next few generations due to climate change and other human impacts.  Every episode includes features that help viewers delve deeper into each unique location.  100 Places to Remember Before They Disappear will also be available to a wider audience, through the reach of Planet Green's distribution partners.
