(Silver Spring, Maryland) - This Fall, Animal Planet's slate crisscrosses the United States and spans the globe to run the gamut of the animal world with the debut of two new shows and the return of several surprisingly human fan favorites. From pit bull puppies in New Orleans to sasquatches down under in Australia, to a myriad of other creatures of all sizes and origins, the network's fall line-up leaves no forest unsearched, no stone unturned and no savannah unsupervised in transporting viewers from their couches to the electrifying and often emotional intersection of the human and animal world.

Highlighting the slate of programming is the return of familiar favorites FINDING BIGFOOT, PIT BULLS & PAROLEES and PIT BOSS. But, with a new location for Tia, an international expedition for the bigfoot investigation team and family drama weighing on Shorty, things may seem drastically different for fans of these shows.

In addition to the returning series, Animal Planet welcomes back some familiar faces while continuing the tradition of creating amazing natural history programs with the television premiere of JANE'S JOURNEY and the world premiere of FRONTIER EARTH PRESENTED BY WALMART, hosted by large predator expert Dave Salmoni.

FINDING BIGFOOT

Series Returns Sunday, November 11, at 10 PM (ET/PT)

Animal Planet's hit series FINDING BIGFOOT returns with all-new episodes, investigating compelling evidence that may prove the existence of the elusive creature. This season, investigations take the team farther across the globe and further into sasquatch history than they've ever travelled. For the first time, the intrepid cast of investigators -- Bigfoot Field Research Organization (BFRO) president Matt Moneymaker, researchers James "Bobo" Fay and Cliff Barackman, and skeptical scientist Ranae Holland - expand their search in North America and beyond to investigate the sasquatch phenomenon known as "yowies" in Australia and the "orang-pendek" of Indonesia.  By examining photos and videos of the creature, speaking to local witnesses, using new technology and luring the mysterious beast with the team's signature sasquatch calls, the group uncovers startling evidence of the mysterious and highly intelligent enigma that has eluded capture for centuries and fascinated man for just as long.
