Dr. Jeff and his dedicated staff at Planned Pethood Plus scrub in for all-new episodes of DR. JEFF: ROCKY MOUNTAIN VET on Animal Planet. In this new season, viewers will reconnect with Dr. Jeff and follow the team as they settle into a new facility as well as tag along with animal checkups at various locations. The third season of DR. JEFF: ROCKY MOUNTAIN VET premieres Saturday, February 4, at 9 PM ET/PT.
In the season premiere, the new clinic is up and running, bigger and busier than ever, which means Dr. Jeff and his team are hard at work with more clients than ever. Viewers will see the team in action as they tackle the job of saving a Labrador retriever who had been hit by a car; a puppy with a life-threatening illness; and the neutering of a wallaby and an arctic fox. The team also travels to The Wild Animal Sanctuary, an animal refuge, where they help a recent arrival, a 400-pound tiger with overgrown claws.
After taking some time off after his cancer diagnosis for chemo therapy, Dr. Jeff is back with big passion and persistence. Dr. Jeff tells viewers on Saturday, “I feel like I’ve got this beat . . . I’m going to come through it and it’s going to be fine and I’m going to go on and keep working.”
DR. JEFF: ROCKY MOUNTAIN VET ranked as the #1 Animal Planet series in 2016 among Total Viewers with an average 1.3 million Total Viewers, and #2 for the year among Women 25-54 (266k). Last season’s finale episode ranked as the series’ most watched episode in viewership (1.7M) and among Adults 25-54 (493,000) and Women 25-54 (319,000).
