PIT BULLS & PAROLEES reached more than one million total viewers and broke season ratings records across the 25-54 demo (Persons, Women and Men) as well as Persons and Women 18-49 on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 9PM ET/PT with its annual “You Watch, We Give” episode. The episode, “Everything for Emma”, pushed Animal Planet into cable’s Top Five in its time period among Women 25-54 (#5) with a .51 rating, and into the Top 10 among Person 25-54 (#10), Persons 18-49 (#8), Persons 18-34 (#8), Women 18-49 (#6) and Women 18-34 (#7).
Part of Animal Planet’s ongoing commitment to make a positive impact in the animal world, Saturday’s episode helped drive the network’s annual donation to Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC) based on the number of viewers who watched. The donation (Up to $50,000) will help provide food, medication and vet care for the hundreds of dogs cared for every day at Villalobos Rescue Center.
