The Texas Game Wardens of Texas Parks and Wildlife have been protecting wild things in wild places across the state of Texas since 1895. The game wardens encounter many perilous situations that affect animals and citizens alike as they oversee and protect more than 250,000 squares miles of deserts, lakes, piney woods, bayous, plains and coasts. As the second largest state in the U.S., the work of the Texas Game Wardens is never done and there seems to be no slowing down any time soon! An all-new season of LONE STAR LAW premieres on Animal Planet Sunday, July 12 at 9 PM ET/PT.

Among other stories this season, Game Warden Gould receives a late-night call about an injured exotic red stag; Game Wardens Chelsea Bailey, Trey Kram and Weston Burris enforce laws with oyster fisherman to protect the resource for future generations; Game Warden Brad Clarke gets a tip about a poached fox on private property and investigates; Game Warden Benny Richards patrols Hunt County day and night looking for fisherman, but finds reckless drivers instead; and Game Warden Jennifer Provaznik regrets cutting a few fisherman a break when she catches them illegally fishing for a second time.
